Playing High Limit Baccarat
High Limit Baccarat is one of the most captivating card games around, yet it is also one of the simplest to play. Each game begins with the Baccarat dealer handing out two cards to a player and another two cards, which goes to the bank hand. A starting hand that has a combined value of 8 or 9 is referred to as a “natural”. A high limit Baccarat player that receives a natural will have to show it to the rest of the players around the table, and that ends that round. If no one receives a natural, the game proceeds with the player hand going first followed by the banker hand.
If the total of cards in the player hand comes out to 6 or more, he or she must play without any additional cards. Any less however, and he or she must draw another card from the dealer.
The banker on the other hand must stay with his or her own hand if the total comes out to 7 or more. He or she can draw an additional card if the total comes out to 0, 1, or 2. If the total is 3, 4, 5, or 6 however, the banker can only draw another card if the player decides to draw one himself.
